Matthew Peacock
Matthew Peacock began his training in Coram, New York, under the direction of Michelle Ferraro and, after only one year, performed at Madison Square Garden as a “New York Knicks City Kids Dancer.” In 2005, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his dance career. Peacock has performed on “Dancing with the Stars,” “So You Think You Can Dance,” “American Idol,” “GLEE,” “90210,” “The Grammys,” “The American Music Awards,” and “Two and a Half Men,” and in numerous films such as Alvin and the Chipmunks, The Bratz Movie, Semi-Pro, and Camp Fred. In 2008 he moved to Las Vegas to perform as a soloist with Cirque du Soleil in “The Beatles LOVE”. Currently residing in Los Angeles, his choreography has appeared on television shows such as “The Secret Life of the American Teenager,” and “The Brenda Hampton Project II.” He has also assisted Justin Giles on “So You Think You Can Dance” Season 8. Currently, Matthew is touring the world dancing “Gangnam Style” for PSY, soon after touring the U.S. and Europe with Odyssey Dance Theatre performing the works of Justin Giles, Derryl Yeager and Mia Michaels. He is a principal dancer, as well as the assistant director of SoulEscape Dance Company under the direction of Justin Giles. Matthew is also a member of Peter Chu’s company, chuthis.
