Aubree Weiler
Aubree Weiler graduated from Brigham Young University with a B.A. in Dance Education and a Minor in Business Management. At BYU, Aubree was the Dance Major President (2016-2017) and the Dance Major Vice President for two years (2014-2016). She received the prestigious Jack Wheatley Scholarship, which paid for two years of tuition. She also received the Leona Holbrook Spirit of Sport full-tuition scholarship and the Dee Winterton half-tuition scholarship. Aubree also received the BYU Dance Talent Scholarship her freshman year. At her time at BYU, Aubree was a member of Contemporary Dance Theatre (CDT) for two years and toured California, Nevada, and Utah. While on CDT, Aubree performed at the ACDA Festival in Oregon and BYU's Homecoming Spectacular with David Archuleta. During her senior year at BYU, Aubree had the unique opportunity to perform and present research at the dance and the Child international (daCi) Conference in Australia (July 2018). While at daCi, Aubree presented research focused on the integration of technology and movement. Besides dance, Aubree was also involved in different organizations at BYU, including the Executive Director and Event Coordinator for BYU/SA, the student body leadership organization on campus. She also was involved with Y-Serve and volunteered at a retirement center as well as tutored children in the underprivileged schools. Aubree has a passion for teaching and is excited to share her love of dance with children and students at Creative Arts Academy.
