Creative Arts Academy is honored to announce the beneficiary of this year’s Benefit Concert. Dmitri Moore, son of Chris and Leslie Moore, is an amazing 14-year-old who has spent this last year fighting for his life since being diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s Burkitt lymphoma. We now, as a studio and as a community, have the opportunity to join this family who is so special to Creative Arts Academy in focusing on the hope for his full recovery and his future of a very full life.
Thank you for joining us in celebrating Dmitri’s courage and resilience, and for lending your love and support to make this benefit concert truly meaningful. The concert will take place on December 13, 2025, at Woods Cross High School. More details on the silent auction, how to donate, as well as the details of the concert, will be shared as it gets closer.
Together, we can make a difference by helping Dmitri and his family through this challenging time, while also contributing to the hope that burns brightly within them. Let’s make this year’s Benefit Concert a remarkable tribute to Dmitri’s strength and the incredible community we’re all part of.
Meet Dmitri
Dmitri Moore is a 14-year-old who attends Mueller Park Junior High School in Bountiful, Utah. He has four brothers and sisters and loves to workout, golf, play tennis, cook, listen to music, and watch movies. He is also fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
On December 6, 2024, Dmitri went to the hospital because of pain. Doctors diagnosed him with non-Hodgkin’s Burkitt lymphoma. It is a fast-growing cancer, and doctors worked quickly to start Dmitri on chemotherapy treatments. Dmitri’s body responded well. After six months and almost two hundred doses of chemotherapy, Dmitri went into remission.
Dmitri has a fighting spirit and has chosen to be optimistic through his cancer fight. He is thankful for his family, friends, and community that have always supported him. He is thankful you are here to support him and the Creative Arts Academy dancers. He is grateful for Primary Children’s Hospital and thinks about the friends he made there. His family thinks about the families that are still fighting cancer themselves.
