A company specifically designed for committed dancers ages 9 and up who would like to prepare for university dance programs and careers as professional dancers, dance teachers, and choreographers. Dancers will attend multiple master classes and workshops with universities and professional companies.
Ages 8 and up
Class time:
Ages 8-10: 6 hours
Ages 11-13: 7 hours
Ages 14-15: 8 hours
Ages 16-18: 9 hours
Core classes: ballet, pre-pointe/pointe, jazz, and contemporary
Dancers will perform in the studio’s benefit concert, ballet production, and spring recital. They will attend Utah Dance Festival in the spring for a day of adjudications and master classes. They will also have the opportunity to visit and connect with local university dance programs for tours, workshops, and master classes. And a highlight of Dance Ensemble every year is the end-of-year Black Box showcase.
