Jaclyn Naegle
Jaclyn Naegle grew up in Bountiful, Utah, where she trained and danced competitively from a young age. Her love and passion for dance has been a driving influence throughout her life. Despite almost being paralyzed from the waist down and having major back surgery at age 13, she never gave up on her dreams. Jaclyn graduated from Brigham Young University with a double major in Dance and Social Work. While at BYU, she danced on their modern DancEnsemble team, was an officer of the jazz dance club, received several scholarships from the dance department, as well as studied and performed dance abroad in China. She has also danced as a member of Wasatch Contemporary Dance Company in Provo.
Jaclyn can speak Spanish fluently due to her serving a church mission in Spain. She also obtained her Masters in Social Work from The University of Utah, gaining invaluable experience working with children from all walks of life.
Jaclyn especially loves to teach dance. She taught at Creative Arts Academy several years ago before moving to Colorado and then to Iowa for her husband’s medical training, where she continued to teach dance at various studios along the way. Jaclyn is excited to have returned to Utah, settling down with her husband and four children. She is so grateful to be back at Creative Arts Academy again, helping to inspire more young dancers to believe in and love themselves as they pursue their dreams.
