Jen Osorio Pendleton
The first thing to know about Jen Osorio Pendleton is she loves dance movement. She has a passion for the body, mind and soul through dance and the power it can have on the individual. Her passion lead her to pursue a professional career starting with Odyssey Dance Theater for 8 years. Through Odyssey she worked with and/or performed work by Jason Parsons, Dee Caspary, Mia Michaels, Roni Koresch, And Liz Imperio to name a few. She has performed across the US, completed 6 European tours where she had opportunity to be a soloist and perform her own choreography, as well as performing in South Korea with Jason Parsons’ work. She was also a member of Justin Giles’ company since its beginnings and Has been a guest artist for SALT Contemporary Dance. Her commercial work includes appearing in films Legally Blond II, High School Musical 3, The Mistletones, 12 days of Christmas, and being a company member in the reality show “A Chance To Dance” where she worked with Michael Nunn and William Treavit (The Ballet Boyz). Along with dancing herself, she has a passion to teach and has opportunity to travel across the US teaching at workshops as well as setting choreography on competitive studios, universities, Salt II, Auquabats tv show, Henry Amarr’s “Tomorrow” music video and Henry’s Salt Lake City Concert. Her love for the body and movement pushed her to gain more knowledge through Pilates and is a certified STOTT Pilates instructor. She is also the co-creator of the DM Art Festival. She lives in Salt Lake City and loves being a mom, wife, and will forever cherish passing on her heart-felt love for movement with teaching and performing.
