From broadway to the streets, tap dance is a timeless art. With a combination of precision and intricate footwork, dancers create percussive music with their feet. Our classes train students in both traditional and rhythm techniques.
Tap 1
This class focuses on basic tap terminology, technique, coordination, simple rhythms, dancing to the beat of the music and staying together as a group.
Tap 2
The class includes added emphasis on technique, body placement, terminology, refining tap skills and further development of rhythms and choreography. Concepts include dynamics, phrasing and musicality with clarity of sounds and increasing speeds.

Tap Dress Code (all levels)
- Black or solid colored leotard or fitted tank
- Dance shorts, capri or pants that do not cover the feet
- Black tap shoes
